Electricity — Model basis

This simulation uses a simplified DC circuit model based on Ohm’s law. It is for understanding voltage, current, resistance, and power. It does not simulate household AC wiring, electrical safety, heat transfer, batteries, or real device design.

Model basis

Educational visualizations

The changing voltage gauge, resistance gate, current arrows, and power blocks are educational visualizations. They compare relative voltage, resistance, current, and power without showing electrons, battery charge, heat, temperature, or safety.

Current shows how much charge flow the model calculates from V/R. Power shows how much electrical energy is used per unit time, calculated from V×I. The power blocks are not heat, temperature, danger, or total energy stored.

The main diagram is a relationship visualization. Voltage is shown as relative potential difference, resistance as relative difficulty of current flow, current as the computed result of V/R, and power as the energy rate computed from V×I. Current arrows and power blocks are separate teaching aids, not physical component shapes, wire sizes, heat, temperature, or safety indicators.

Current markers

Current result arrows show the computed relative magnitude of I = V/R. Their rightward orientation connects the relationship diagram; the arrows are not individual electrons, particles, or fluid tracers.
